Depth

Repetition
Repetition is a way that the artist can use to draw the artists attention into the photo. This creates depth by making the space between the images pop. Repetition is an easy way to compose your photos and makes the images look very nice. 






 Depth Staging

Depth staging is when you have an image in the foreground and an image in the background. They are both the focus of the picture and they both are a big part of the photo. 





 Leading lines

Leading lines are photos that have lines that lead to the main focus of the photo or all the way back to the horizon. Leading lines indicate depth because of how it allows you to see the distance between objects better.

    Your depth staging photos are very successful. My favorite leading line photo in this series is the photo with the plant. It very unique and has a very cool angle.

    These photos have a very clear subject, which makes them very simplistic and appealing to the eye. Most of these photos give off a sense of depth very well, but some of the repetition photos look flat. The rest do give off a sense of depth very well.

    most of these shots are very minimalistic and thus very clear what type of rule they are conveying.the first leading lines photo is great because of the pastel colors and also because it's intentionally blurry, which you should definitely do more of

    Many of these photos especially the leading lines seem very simple but still clearly show what you were going for with each photo. I really like the photo of the stairs. It looks very mysterious .

    I like how in each of these photos there is one clear subject as it shows you know the rules well. I like how in many of your photos you kept the colours simple.

    I really like the color in the first few images, I think that they are all really well edited, but the color of the first few is really evident and bright.

    I really enjoyed your photo of the reflection of the sunset in the window of a car. It displays a leading line into the sunset very well

Slo-Mo For this batch of images, I tried to bring out the colors often making the photos seem unnatural and that you can not really tell what the photo is of. I tried to capture the light trails leaving the main point that I originally captured moving the camera from side to side and upside down to make these trails and manipulate them in ways that I liked. I also found that some of the images looked better in black and white. I used a density filter to take these photos during the daytime because I couldn't take them at the shutter speed necessary to make the blur. I hoped that the light trails coming off the subjects in the image reminded you of something electrical and futuristic.

Portfolio

My Portfolio For my Spring Project, I transitioned from the small figures in a scene to architecture. What I would do is I would walk around and take a picture straight up a building or capture part of the building in the frame. I tried to divide the frame with sharp angles that defined the edges of the building and frame. Or I just shot in a straight line up the building as opposed to straight towards it. Over the past two weeks, I did my best to master this technique and here is my result.

Draft 2

For this Draft, I combined David Gillivers little people with the outdoors to try to set up scenes in which they were not interacting with other little people but other bigger things like the environment and other things. For example, I used things I see every day like an can or the ping pong balls. I tried to make it look like they were trying to solve a problem and help each other.
