Slo-Mo

Slo-Mo

For this batch of images, I tried to bring out the colors often making the photos seem unnatural and that you can not really tell what the photo is of. I tried to capture the light trails leaving the main point that I originally captured moving the camera from side to side and upside down to make these trails and manipulate them in ways that I liked. I also found that some of the images looked better in black and white. I used a density filter to take these photos during the daytime because I couldn't take them at the shutter speed necessary to make the blur. I hoped that the light trails coming off the subjects in the image reminded you of something electrical and futuristic.

Spring Project #2

For my second week, I switched over from shooting little figures to capturing Pac Heights architecture. To get the pictures I shot up the wall and tried to capture the sharp angles and contrasts of the glassy buildings. I like the way that the glass reflects and creates the bright reflections which contrast with the darker backgrounds.

Spring Project #3

For my third week of shooting, I continued with my architecture series. This week I shot up buildings less and capture the skies behind and the buildings themselves. I also mirrored the buildings up and down. I captured the angles of the buildings and the things behind some buildings. I think that this is a great way to finish up this series.

Winter 4

Winter 4 For this batch of photos, I hoped to create a sort of simpler vibe with not a lot going on with there being a ton of things going on. I prefer a simple photo with nothing too flashy going on and one main point that the eye naturally gravitates to. I, however, do like the vibrant colors of the last photos so I included them.
