For this set of photos, I was tasked with taking photos that followed the style of popular photographer Richard Avedon. These styles include a square photo and the photo being square. However, the main part of his photography is the amount of emotion that is conveyed without using the rest of your face. For example, a smile can convey emotion quite easily but it is harder trying to keep your face blank and still be able to make the emotions clear.
For my second week, I switched over from shooting little figures to capturing Pac Heights architecture. To get the pictures I shot up the wall and tried to capture the sharp angles and contrasts of the glassy buildings. I like the way that the glass reflects and creates the bright reflections which contrast with the darker backgrounds.
You did a really great job on this task and I really like the one photo of Declan that doesn't have too many dark colors giving it a lighter and happier feel. I like the addition of the hood to almost give it a more serious and mug shot feel
