Spring Project #3

For my third week of shooting, I continued with my architecture series. This week I shot up buildings less and capture the skies behind and the buildings themselves. I also mirrored the buildings up and down. I captured the angles of the buildings and the things behind some buildings. I think that this is a great way to finish up this series.

Spring Project #2

For my second week, I switched over from shooting little figures to capturing Pac Heights architecture. To get the pictures I shot up the wall and tried to capture the sharp angles and contrasts of the glassy buildings. I like the way that the glass reflects and creates the bright reflections which contrast with the darker backgrounds.

Winter 4

Winter 4 For this batch of photos, I hoped to create a sort of simpler vibe with not a lot going on with there being a ton of things going on. I prefer a simple photo with nothing too flashy going on and one main point that the eye naturally gravitates to. I, however, do like the vibrant colors of the last photos so I included them.

Portfolio

My Portfolio For my Spring Project, I transitioned from the small figures in a scene to architecture. What I would do is I would walk around and take a picture straight up a building or capture part of the building in the frame. I tried to divide the frame with sharp angles that defined the edges of the building and frame. Or I just shot in a straight line up the building as opposed to straight towards it. Over the past two weeks, I did my best to master this technique and here is my result.
